Direct and review the preparation of financial statements, business activity reports, financial position forecasts, annual budgets, or reports for clients required by regulatory agencies.
Develop control policies, guidelines, and procedures for firm and clients’ activities such as budget administration, cash and credit management, and accounting.
Review client’s annual tax returns or financial information prepared by the accountant.
Assign projects and direct staff in accounting projects.
Oversee the firm’s accounting projects to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
Provide direction and assistance to clients regarding accounting and budgeting policies and procedures and efficient control and utilization of financial resources.
Analyze the financial details of past, present, and expected operations of clients to identify accounting problems.
Advise clients’ management on short-term and long-term financial objectives, policies, and actions.
Monitor clients’ financial activities and details, such as cash flow and reserve levels, to ensure that all legal and regulatory requirements are met.
Conduct or coordinate audits of clients’ accounts and financial transactions to ensure compliance with state and federal requirements and statutes.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting plus 24 months of experience in preparing monthly financial statements and reviewing monthly financial statements.
